Aunt Tami and Alice kisses!!!
This weekend we had a wedding which meant Tami came in to help.
So far, she's helped on most of the weddings I've done and I couldn't imagine doing one without her. She's efficient, helpful, funny and obedient. She is my perfect partner in crime. ;)
And we're pretty good together.
And she works for cheap. Beer and baby kisses. ;)
I also couldn't have done it without Mamaw and Uncle Travis to watch a Little Bitty and my Beloved who supports me through all my adventures. I love my people. ;)
We had a lovely wedding, the couple was super happy, everyone showed up on time and there was no drama.
And we hope they live happy ever after.
Until next time....

Where You Are
At the computer working!
Today I'm working on an upcoming wedding! ELGDream Events has an August wedding and I'm finalizing timelines and putting together to do lists. I like working on wedding stuff! It's like putting together a play while knowing there will be a lot of improvising. We start with a timeline and we try to stick to it! But mostly the timeline acts like a To Do list so we don't forget to cut the cake. ;)
We plan as much as we can, put out all the fires we can and hope the Bride and Groom live happily ever after!
Until next time....

Day 3 - And they lived happily ever after....
David and Kristl had a BEAUTIFUL wedding and a fabulous reception. I was so excited for them! :) The ceremony took place at Ardenwood Historical Park in Fremont, California under a very lovely Gazebo.

Kristl and her girls were gorgeous!!
We had a blast at the reception where we danced and drank and had a great time!

It was a beautiful day and an amazing start to Kristl and David's new adventure. :) Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Mayes!!
Up next, day 4 and trust me - it's entertaining!
Until then...

Score 1 for the "Bride-side"!
My friend recommended we look at the Chapel on the U of H campus and I liked it too! It's simple yet pretty. It has tons of windows and a built in pipe organ that won't cost an arm and a leg.
I think it too might be "it". It's not too far from the Majestic and that's a good thing.
So today was a good day. Today was a GREAT day! Nothing is final and noting is set in stone, we still have a lot of places to see but at least I have a short list! And who doesn't love a short list?! Daniel and I still need to look over everything and decide together what would be best for our wedding. "Our wedding" - wow!
And I think my mom will be more thankful then I am when we finally book a place, I think all this searching is wearing her out. :) She affectionately refers to Tuesday's as "Timby's Torture Days". :) She's being a very good trooper and I'm very excited to have her with me. I love my momma!!
