I have been attempting a craft project for a while now. I saw a picture on Pinterest and NEEDED it! However, collecting enough doilies to make it possible turned out to be a challenge.
After receiving some from Granny and Mamaw, I still needed a few more. I found them last week when we were out with the aunts!
I washed and ironed them the other day during nap time and today I put them together.
I set out to make a table runner but as I laid them out, I discovered our table is a little shorter so I posed a question - Left or Right?
After looking it at it for a while, I went with more of a table cover. I wanted to use a few more of the doilies. So Here's the finished project!
It has character and history and it's eclectic and inviting. There are stains and tears and imperfections that make each one individual.
And it's perfect.
