COUSINS!!!!

We got to spend the first part of our week with our Louisiana cousins! This was the first time they were able to meet Alice and our first time to meet sweet little Avery! We had a house FULL of kids and a lot of fun!

Our first day, we got to visit the park at Sylvan Beach! And swings are fun!

We spent most of Tuesday on Galveston Island. We started out at the Rainforest Cafe. The kids LOVED it! 

And cousins Jodi and Nicole bought Alice a monkey!

Next we visited the Aquarium at Moody Gardens. Alice loves the penguins. She can sit and talk to them for hours. 

They're her favorite. It makes me smile. They seem to like her too. They'll sit at the window and watch her. It's cute! 

The kids had a great time seeing all the fishes and we were just happy to be in the air conditioning.  Seriously, fall - we're ready.

And with all that excitement, she slept the whole way home.

Note her crossed ankles. It's her new thing and might be the cutest thing EVER. 

We had a FANTASTIC, chaotic time with the cousins. I hope our kids get to have as many adventures and fun times that we had growing up. Watching us with kids seems pretty strange. :) But also pretty cool. 

We're so thankful they got to spend some time with us and we hope to see them again soon.
