After Dark

We played a hunch and so far it seems to be paying off.

In an attempt to get a certain someone in to bed on her own, we've switched things up a bit.

I noticed the nights I fed her her last bottle and put her to sleep - she woke up as soon as her head hit the bed. So I asked my Beloved to give it a try. And sure enough - he feeds her and she goes to sleep and goes in to her bed with no trouble at all. BINGO! 

There have been a few nights where we can hear her talking but she eventually falls asleep.

While I'm not thrilled my Beloved now has to do this at night, I am thrilled to be back in my own bed! 

She sleeps in her bed until the morning hours (4am - 6am) until she wakes me up talking. :) That brings me joy. 

And for the second day in a row - she's been exhausted enough during the day to put herself to sleep in her bed for nap time. 

And I understand that by saying all this - I'm probably jinxing it. You'd think I would have learned by now. Nope. Foolish Momma.
