Alice had her 9 month check up this week! She weighs 16lbs 13oz and is 26 inches long! She is finally on the growth curve for babies her age. Because she was so early, she had her own curve and didn't reach the curve for babies her age. But she's catching up! She's ALMOST to the 25% on weight and she's right on the 5% for the height chart! Not bad for a baby 2 1/2 months behind the curve!
She's doing so well weight wise, we can take her off the preemie formula she's been receiving. How exciting is that?!
We've tried a few foods this week that were not big hits. Apparently we're not ready for Asparagus and Broccoli. It's okay, we'll try again soon.
And she needs to drink more water only she thinks water is gross. The doctor suggested we try sippy cups. If a baby gets water in a bottle they're used to getting milk from, they might reject it. Babies are weird. ;) So we have a few different types of cups to try. So far they're all lame. ;)
This week she got to meet some cousins for the first time!

Alice is doing SO well! And we're so very proud. Even when she's being difficult.
Until next time......

Hey Timby! Long time. I started blogging again and I ran across your blog on my list. To my surprise there has been a lovely addition to your family. She looks so much like you. What a cutie. I am so glad to see your family is growing and that I can catch with your life since you have been blogging. I hope all is well
