Silver

Every year at Daniel's school they do a Giving Tree type program where you can buy a gift for a child in need this Christmas. And every year we try to do what we can to bring some joy to kids who need it.

I love how thoughtful my Beloved is when it comes to the ornaments. He looks through them all and tries to pick "the hard sells". The ones that aren't that exciting. The ones people might over look for something more 'fun'.

This year we're shopping for a boy who wants long sleeved shirts. That's it! Doesn't that just break your heart? It breaks mine. He's going to get his long sleeved shirts!

We love shopping for them. Daniel will tell you it stresses me out but everything does so......

And we spend a lot of time thinking and talking about what to get. These kids deserve what we would do for our own child.

Now, I'd prefer the Beloved to bring them home more than 2-3 days before they're due but I digress.

We are truly blessed and we are very thankful. And we think there's nothing wrong with attempting to pay it forward.

'Tis the season. Bless someone when you can.

Until next time....
