She spends all day bringing me books to read.
Months ago I had to put away her board books because all she wanted to do was eat them. But the chewing has stopped so she got her books back.
I hear her in her room and when I check on her, she'll be sitting on the floor looking through her books. Brings me joy. I sit on the floor, she crawls in my lap and we read.
She'll bring me books and I'll put her on the couch and we'll read. This has turned in to more of a way to get on the couch. She's a tricksy little thing.
One of her favorite books is "Monkeys Jumping on the Bed" that she got from her Nana for Christmas. Our family has a long history with the song so she just had to have the book.
Although I think the reading it 100 times a day is starting to rub off....
Today's picture is 'perfect' and when she sleeps, she sure does look it.
