I think I say that a lot these days however it's all true. Today looked a lot like this.
She needed some Mommy and Me time so I laid down on her bedroom floor, using her big frog as a pillow. She proceeded to crawl all over me and pull my hair. After several minutes, I just gave up and sat up. She immediately laid her head down on the frog as if to say "mine!" Oiy vey.
She's in to EVERYTHING. And she's SUPER fast. She KNOWS when she's doing something she's not supposed to because she cocks her little eyebrow like 'look what I'm doing!' Seriously. She's not even 2!
I'm not sure I'm going to make it. ;)
By the evening I was spent. S.P.E.N.T.
My Beloved in knee deep in playoffs and had to work most of the weekend on events. This means he's home late and the weekend was a lot of me and baby. Momma needs a break.
As I'm cooking supper, she disappears. I find her in our bedroom like this.
That's a pair of underwear around her neck and those are her safety clippers in her mouth.

I've been at this job for over a year now, surely I've earned some vacation time..... ;)
Then I feel guilty because I only have one. Some mothers have more!! THEY need vacations too!!
Maybe one day.......
