The Bathroom Game

We have a gate on our bathroom door to keep Alice out. Bathrooms are dirty no matter how clean they are! So we put it up when she started crawling.

Now she thinks this must be the most magical room in the entire house. 

When I'm getting ready, she stands shaking the gate and yelling with indignation "HOW COULD YOU!!!!" 

And when that doesn't work - the game begins.

With eyes that clearly say "fine, this is all your doing", she hunts down something she knows she should not have. She grabs it, looks at me (who is now standing at the gate shaking my mascara wand at her saying "Alice! No ma'am!") and slowly puts it in her mouth. 

Oiy vey.

She does this with several items always hoping to find that one item that will flush me out of the magic room so she could FINALLY gain access. 

I swear, this child.
