We took this at the Rose Garden rest area. (Another recommendation from Lesley) While we were taking the picture - which we do quickly to prevent any meltdowns - the family resting at the table beside us offers to take our picture together. I say "no thank you, all we need is the sheep and the kid." Because we're crazy. We went on to explain WHY we have the Sheep and showed them a few of the earlier pictures.
They were there with their little boy (about 4ish) and I think they needed adult conversation. So we stopped and chatted for a while. Sometimes it's neat to talk to complete strangers.
Only 2 weeks left of this project! The Sheep pictures are fun so I'll keep taking them occasionally - not every week! But we'll sneak in a few here and there.
I look at old pictures and I can't believe how far she's come. She looks less like a baby every day. Amazing.
