Chalk Dust and Sticky Hands

When the weather is nice, Alice and I head out to play on the driveway. I bring out bubbles but she doesn't want to blow them - all she wants is to put the stick back in the bottle and put the lid on....over and over again.

I draw something in chalk and then she sits on it.

Our summer is going to look a lot like this....

And we will be covered in chalk dust and sticky bubbles. 

And surprisingly enough - I wouldn't want it any other way.
